Bombardier And Execujet Shine As Jets & Jewels Goes Global

Bombardier Business Aircraft featured a dazzling line-up of corporate jets at the first international edition of Bombardier Jets & Jewels on
October 27, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Two ultra-long range Global Express jets, the new widebody Challenger 605, a super-midsize Challenger 300, and two super-light Learjet 45 business aircraft were showcased at a VIP gala event hosted in partnership with ExecuJet Aviation Group, Bombardier’s exclusive sales agent in South Africa.

“We consider our high-performance Bombardier jets to be the real gems of the business aircraft market,” noted Bob Horner, vice-president, international sales, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “Jets & Jewels highlights our aircraft alongside some of the world’s most sought after brands, providing our collective clientele the opportunity to experience some of the world’s most refined products in a very sophisticated setting.”

The red carpet affair featured an impressive selection of high-end business jets, Rolls Royce cars, stunning accessories from World’s Finest Watches & Jewellery, exclusive property from Nondela Drakensburg Mountain Estate and financial solutions from specialist banking group, Investec. The backdrop for this party was an elaborately staged hangar at ExecuJet’s facility at Lanseria International Airport.

“ExecuJet is proud to co-host this unique event, making its debut on the international scene” said Ettore Poggi, managing director, ExecuJet South Africa. “Like the other event sponsors, our discerning customers expect nothing but the best. We are delighted to offer such a prestigious line-up under one roof.”

More than 300 special guests and celebrities were captivated by the lavish display, which included a fashion show by South African couturier Gavin Rajah, an exquisite selection of food, wine and drinks, and classical music throughout the evening.

Jets & Jewels originated in Santa Barbara, California, as a venue for luxury brand manufacturers, service providers and retailers to host and entertain their loyal customers, while offering them the opportunity to experience other exclusive products in an intimate setting.
