Bombardier Appoints New Authorized Line Maintenance Facility For Learjet Aircraft In Sacramento

Mather Aviation is the seventh new facility appointed in past 12 months

Bombardier today announced the appointment of Mather Aviation LLC. Sacramento, Ca., as an Authorized Line Maintenance Facility for Bombardier Learjet aircraft. Mather Aviation is the second facility appointed in California in the past 12 months, following Landmark Aviation in February 2006. It is also the seventh new facility named worldwide in the past year.

“With over 1,500 Learjet aircraft based in the United States, including over 90 in California, Bombardier recognizes our customers’ need for convenient access to first-rate maintenance support,” said James Hoblyn, senior vice-president, customer experience, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “Facilities like Mather Aviation, with strong experience and proven results, contribute greatly to our goal of providing unmatched service and support.”

Based at Mather Airport near Sacramento, Mather Aviation’s Rancho Cordova Facility offers round-the-clock Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) assistance and line-maintenance service, and houses an 86,000-square-foot (7,990-sq.-m.) maintenance hangar and a 25,000-square-foot (2,322-sq.-m.) storage hangar. Established in 1991, Mather Aviation provides a complete spectrum of line maintenance and avionics service, and boasts a staff of 40 factory-trained technicians.
