Bombardier Skyjet™, the nation’s premier service for booking charter business jets and a unit of Bombardier Aerospace, today announced a new incentive program developed for flight departments that use charter for supplemental lift. Under the program, flight departments can earn cash credits toward Bombardier Business Aviation Services (BBAS maintenance/modifications or pilot/technician training at a BBAS factory owned service center or training center. BBAS supports business aircraft customers with turnkey maintenance and technical service.
The program is available to customers of the Bombardier Skyjet Premier Fleet jet membership program, which offers a choice of 25, 50 or 100 hours of flight on a specified aircraft size. Premier Fleet members will earn BBAS maintenance or pilot training credits of $2,000 for a 25-hour agreement, $4,000 for a 50-hour agreement or $8,000 for a 100-hour agreement. The credit is applied at the completion of the Premier Fleet contract term and must be redeemed within 12 months.
According to Nicholas Houseman, general manager of Bombardier Skyjet, the program will appeal to flight departments whose charter needs are significant enough to merit consideration of a jet membership program, and who anticipate being able to take advantage of BBAS maintenance and training credits.
“In addition to getting supplemental lift from Bombardier Skyjet, and enjoying the benefits of guaranteed availability and our quality network of safety-audited operators, this incentive program enables flight departments to benefit financially from consolidating their business aviation solutions with Bombardier,” said Mr. Houseman.
“This incentive program is yet another demonstration of the innovative, value-added offerings we at Bombardier Skyjet can provide to our customers because we are part of the Bombardier Aerospace family,” he added. “The breadth of Bombardier products and services spans every business aviation need and provides customers with a single-source solution.”
About Bombardier Skyjet
Founded in 1997 and acquired by Bombardier Aerospace in 2000, Bombardier Skyjet offers the Premier Fleet private jet membership program for frequent charter travelers. Premier Fleet offers customers a choice of 25, 50 or 100 flight hours in a preferred size of aircraft, and guaranteed availability with a 12-hour advanced reservation. Premier Fleet is the only block-hour charter membership program offering the option of earning credit toward whole or fractional aircraft ownership. Premier Fleet Plus - Learjet Class offers customers the opportunity to specify the Learjet® 60 as their aircraft of choice.
