YPO Air - Powered by Bombardier Skyjet - Provides Unique Private Jet Rideshare Program and Other Travel Benefits to Members
Bombardier Skyjet, the premier service for booking private business jets, announced the launch of YPO Air, a service offered exclusively to members of the prestigious Young Presidents' Organization.
YPO Air Powered by Skyjet is a new service that allows YPO members to share flights on privately chartered business jets. Members can post trips with available seats for purchase, sign up for member-posted trips, access seats on flights going to YPO events around the globe and take advantage of specially priced one-way trips and empty-leg flights.
Bombardier Skyjet, which pioneered the mega-broker segment of the business aviation industry in 1997 and launched the first real-time booking engine for private business jets, created a special Web portal for YPO members, allowing them to view, post and book flights. The rideshare feature, which complies with the relevant U.S. federal regulations, is unique in its size and scope within the jet card segment.
Additionally, the combined purchase power of YPO members enables them to take advantage of Skyjet Card benefits without individually committing to the typical minimum of 25 hours of flight time.
"We are delighted to have been chosen as the preferred provider of private aviation services for an organization as prestigious as Young Presidents' Organization," said Alexandre Monnier, managing director, Bombardier Skyjet. "YPO Air powered by Skyjet will enable leaders around the globe to take advantage of our full range of services along with features specially developed for YPO," he added. "The Web-based features of this unique, private travel program leverage Skyjet's historical strengths and leadership in cutting-edge technology."
YPO develops "Better Leaders Through Education and Idea Exchange" by providing a challenging environment that promotes the exchange of ideas and shared experiences. About Bombardier Skyjet
Founded in 1997 and acquired by Bombardier Aerospace in 2000, Bombardier Skyjet offers the Skyjet Card for frequent private jet travelers. The Skyjet Card offers customers a choice of 25, 50 or 100 flight hours in a preferred size of aircraft, and guaranteed availability with a 12-hour advanced reservation. By charging a simple hourly rate for each hour flown, the Skyjet Card eliminates the deadhead costs associated with one-way jet travel and takes the confusion out of charter jet pricing. Bombardier Skyjet is the only jet card provider offering the option of earning credit toward whole or fractional aircraft ownership. In addition, the Learjet Card and the Challenger Card offer customers the opportunity to specify the Bombardier Learjet 31/31A, Learjet 60 or Challenger 604 as their aircraft of choice. Skyjet also offers on-demand charter business jets through its quality network of operators. For more information or to book a trip, customers can call 1-888-2-SKYJET or visit www.skyjet.com
